Our full event programmes are only available in South West England.
A selection of larger events, weekend breaks, and holidays is offered as associate membership for people outside South West England.
SOUTH WEST MEMBERSHIP
In South West England (where our office is located), we run a more regular and more local social networking service.
South West Membership is for people in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, and Bristol areas ONLY.

We organise a regular programme of events in each of our South West areas, with lots happening throughout the year, often with as much as 20 events events per week to choose from. This huge choice of events through the course of the year includes all manner of social events, dining out, parties, dinner dances, entertainment, bowling, walks, outdoor activities, and all sorts of things. Plus there's some great weekend breaks and worldwide holidays. Lots and lots of choice!

OUTSIDE SOUTH WEST ENGLAND....
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Outside South West England we offer ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP.
This is ideal for people living in other areas who wish to get involved. It's ideal for anyone across the Uk or around the world who wants to book for a Social Group Holiday. And it's also good for previous members of The Social Group who have moved to live elsewhere and want to keep in touch with the group of friends.
This does not include a full events programme like we provide in South West England.
It's more the occasional selection of dinner dances, weekend breaks, and international holidays.
UK ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
If you live elsewhere in the UK (outside South West England), we offer a special UK ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP at a reduced rate of just £20 / year.
Keep in touch with what's happening, make friends with people across the UK, take part in our weekend breaks, and book on a worldwide Social Group Holiday at a discounted price!
There's plenty to choose from, but you may need to travel to where events are being held. If it's a weekend at Alton Towers, you will need to travel to Alton Towers. If it's a weekend in the Lake District, you will need to travel to the Lake District. If it's a dinner dance in Devon, you will need to travel to Devon. And if it's a holiday in Greece, you will need to travel to Greece.

INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
If you live in another country than the UK, we offer a special INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP at a reduced rate of just £20 (approximately $30) / year, plus any necessary postage costs around the world as appropriate

THE SOCIAL GROUP
Our independent social enterprise is NOT like anything or anyone else. Please don't confuse us with anyone else!
We are not a sad singles club. We are not a dodgy dating agency. We are not an extreme sports company. The Social Group offers something completely different! It works in a different way. There's no "meetings" as such - we offer a choice of social events, not meetings in the same place over and over. You are not expected to organise anything and no-one will be imposing on you and forcing you to hold events in your own home at your own expense! We don't earn huge slaries from all our hard work running this, but we do need to get paid enough to cover our running costs, so we don't offer free events to non-members and people are asked to join before they take part.
Our events programme is exceptionally good value and offers all sorts of opportunities to try new things, meet new people, and make new friends. Most of all, as a Social Group Member, you will have fun!
DIRECTORS OF THE SOCIAL GROUP
The Social Group is a unique organisation. In many ways it is simply Andrew & Cathy's "group of friends" and the social events, activities and travel they put together for their "group of friends".
While we pride ourselves in professional standards, we get lots of compliments on offering being a very friendly and personal service.
The idea being that you become part of Andrew & Cathy's "group of friends" and are included with the group from there, with you constantly being introduced to other people throughout the course of your membership.
